Description

Welcome to probably the best rafting area in the Alps! We train our raft guides in Tyrol on the rivers Inn, Sanna and Ötztaler Ache. Our IRF and Rescue3 instructors will train you for whitewater III, IV and whitewater rescue. With these trainings you acquire a certificate that is recognized in almost all well-known rafting areas of the world.

During our "Rookie" training and the following training tours you will acquire the necessary knowledge for a successful exam to become an IRF Class III raft guide. With this certificate you are welcome with us and many other rafting companies around the world as a raft guide in seasonal permanent employment, as a jumper on the weekends or during the holiday season. In addition to a great adventure, lots of fun with funny guests and a great nature experience, you can also expect a decent source of income.

The focus of the "Rookie" course is the safe steering of the boat up to whitewater level III, safety and rescue techniques in whitewater, the professional and customer-oriented handling of the guests, material science, theoretical basics such as fluid mechanics and much more.

The course lasts a full 8 days, which consist of theoretical and practical parts. Participation requires physical resilience, motor skills and some stamina. After the course, about ten documented training tours are required for admission to the IRF exam. The examination fees (approx. 100€) are not part of the course price and must be paid directly to the examination board later.

In terms of content, this training is coordinated with the "Tyrolean rafting curriculum", which forms the basis for the examination to become a professional rafting guide in Tyrol.
