Welcome to probably the best whitewater in the Alps! We train raft guides , kayak coaches and private whitewater paddlers in Tyrol on the rivers Inn, Sanna and Ötztaler Ache. Our Rescue3 instructors share their extensive white water safety rescue – know-how with you. In these courses you will acquire certificates that are recognized in almost all major rafting destinations in the world.

Our training curriculum is based on 40 years of professional experience as well as the experience of other instructors on 5 continents. It’s made for white water paddlers of any craft, guides and coaches, as well as emergency services who want to react competently to specific dangerous situations in order to fully meet their high level of responsibility.

The harmless capsizing of a canoeist, a rafting passenger falling overboard or a pedestrian falling into a “small” creek can quickly escalate into a catastrophe. Now it's not just about having the right equipment, but also knowing how to use it.

The course covers the following topics: safety vs. rescue, accident prevention, equipment, hydrology, knots, active/passive whitewater swimming, tethered swimming, shallow water techniques, throw bags, pins and entrapments, rescue from stoppers, mechanical advantage systems, organization and management of rescue operations, communication during rescue.

The content is always individually tailored to the prior knowledge and needs of the participants.

Of course, practicing rescue techniques is best done with the people you will be on the river with. Therefore it’s smart (and fairly common) for kayaking clubs and kayak or rafting companies to make group bookings and train as a team (prices on request).
